How To Improve Eye Sight - A Greate Info

Over the last 10 – 15 years there has been a marked increase in the number of people who wear glasses and contact lenses. This can be put down to drastically increased computer useage both at home and at work, and increased television watching






Improve Your EyeSight

1• Exercise for improving your vision:

 i.  Rub your palms together and lay them lightly on the eyes. The warmth from the palms will sooth the nerves and increase blood circulation.

 ii. Eye stretching exercise - Close both eyes shut and then open them suddenly.

 iii. Close your eyes and circulate them in all directions. Do this slowly but steadily. Concentrate on one eye at a time.

 iv. Sun bathing is good for your eyes. Don't try to look at the sun directly. Exercise your eyes by looking both sides, up and down trying to allow as maximum sunlight.

2• Diet for improving eyesight:
 The diet should include vegetables and fruits that are green, yellow and red. Increasing the consumption of Vitamin A is important for improving eyesight. Also foods such as spinach, milk cream, fresh milk, butter, tomatoes, lettuce, carrots, cabbage, dates, soya beans, blueberries and oranges are the best source of vitamin A.


3• Don't sit near to the TV and watch for long time.


4• When looking at a computer or hand-held digital device
 it''s common for you to blink two to three times less than you normally would. This can lead to "dry eye." Blinking bathes your eyes in tears, and tears are naturally therapeutic for the eyes.

5• see some seconds out from computer or television
 while you are watching television or using computer see atleast 5-10 seconds to the Thing away from computer

6• dont use more Computer
 dont use more computer, if it is necessary to use your computer use it less than 2 hourse a day

7• Blinking
 Blinking is an often overlooked yet simple way to keep your eyes fresh and being able to focus longer. Computer users and television watchers tend to blink less, especially when they are intently focused on something. Try it just now as a simple exercise. For the next two minutes blink every 3 – 4 seconds. After you have done this for two minutes, mentally take note of how your eyes feel, are they strained, relaxed, tired. Now try and not blink for 30 seconds at a time for two minutes. Do you feel any difference?

8• Near and far focussing
 This is one of my favourite exercises as you can do it almost anywhere, I say almost as I couldn’t imagine doing it on the underground without getting strange looks from those around me.
 Instructions for Near and far focussing.
 .Sit in a comfortable position, or stand, this will only take 2-3 minutes at a time.
 .Put your thumb about 10 inches in front of you and focus on it.
 .Now focus on something else about 10 – 20 feet in front of you.
 .On each deep breath switch between focussing on your thumb and the 10-20 feet object in front of you.


 Remember Our eyes need regular exercise in order to keep them healthy, just like any other muscle in the body.
 Its my opinion if you want your eyesight better use vegitables more and more and eat food like liver, sweet potatos, carrots, mangoes, spinach, cantaloupe, dried apricots, milk, egg yolks, mozzarella cheese... etc
