If you are not sure if a Website uses WordPress, There is a website called "Is it WordPress", that will tell you if the blog/website is using WordPress. You just need have to enter the URL of the website and it will tell you if the website is powered by WordPress. See the picture below.
How “Is it WordPress” works?
Is it WordPress works on a very simple method. It analyze the HTML of the domain you have just entered. It find out the generator head tag first, if it’s not then it find theme file “wp-content/themes/” and if it still don’t find, it will check the readme.html file. Is it WordPress not only tells you if a Website uses WordPress but also it shows the version of the WordPress a website uses.
